The "Cotillion" gown has very pale blue nylon tricot ruffles on the shoulder and skirt. It is almost white in some areas. The velveteen bodice is paler than other examples of this gown. The taffeta underskirt is pale pink. I don't see any indication that it faded. Marci's book says the dress sometimes came with a pink slip, so it doesn't seem like pink on the underskirt is an impossibility. The nylon netting on the underskirt is a very pale blue. There are no holes, tears or stains. The bodice is flexible. All of the trim is intact, as is the snap, but the snap is a bit loose. There are 2 rosebuds on the skirt with rhinestones, and one on the shoulder that does not have a rhinestone.
The slip may be a replacement. It has pale pink nylon netting, and pale pink stitching on the hem, but the taffeta looks white. The pink matches that of the underskirt on the dress. The elastic waist is stretchy. There is a pin-sized hole in the taffeta. The netting is intact.
The panties are light pink; darker than the pink on the gown and slip. No holes, tears or stains. The elastic waist is stretchy.
The shoes are beige; I don't see any sign that they were pale blue. They are dark, so could have been pink at one time. The shoes have fraying around the edges. The soles are intact.
The hat is very nice. It looks blue-ish. The horsehair trim is intact, with only a few tiny nicks to the edge. The horsehair has a bent in the front. There are blue flowers on the hat. The elastic strap is present, but is stretched out.
