Includes two items mailed from Mrs. London to M. L. Herman, a San Francisco rare book dealer.
First, a letter dated October 15, 1928 discussing (high!) rare book prices (from another seller) and a desire for a copy of her late husband's work Valley of the Moon.
Second, a postcard dated March 15, 1929 with a brief note.
The letter has light glue discoloration at top where it had been tipped into a book (and easily removed), three neat folds, plus light wear; the postcard is damaged on the address side towards the top where it had been tipped into the same book (with more glue than the letter), plus has light browning.
