The Metabo-HPT DH38YE2M 8.4-Amp Rotary Hammer is the next generation in Metabo-HPT's hammer technology. Compared to its predecessor the DH38YE, the DH38YE2M's power is packed into a more ergonomic body that is 2.9-pounds lighter, delivers less vibration and a lower noise level. A simple turn of the knob changes the mode from hammer drilling to hammer only, allowing the DH38YE2M to take on a variety of tasks including drilling holes in concrete for anchors or rebar, demolishing and chiseling concrete, cutting, digging, tamping or driving ground rods. The 8.4-amp motor produces 5.9-feet per pound of impact energy and delivers fast drilling and chiseling with a no-load speed of 510-RPM and an impact rate of 2,800-BPM. A dust-proof cover, sealed grease system and auto-stop brushes ensure high motor durability and minimal maintenance. A 360-degree side handle provides additional control, while the safety clutch shuts down rotation in the event of a bound bit. The DH38YE2M also includes a large injection molded carrying case with ample room for storage of bits, a side handle and other accessories. This rotary hammer has 2-modes of operation (hammer drilling or hammer only) controlled by a simple turn-knob. The safety clutch improves user protection in bound bit situations and the auto-stop carbon brushes add years to your tool's life. When you put in a return request, Tools Plus will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization. Items past the 30-Day return window that have defects due to faulty materials or workmanship and are within the manufacturer’s warranty coverage (please see your owner’s manual for specifics) can be sent to the manufacturer’s service center directly.
You will receive a full refund of the purchase amount after we receive the item back at our warehouse and the return has been processed, provided that the item has not been used, opened, repackaged, missing pieces or defaced.
