Description

O’Shea Knitting Mills Green Bay Packers Curly Lambeau Game Worn Era Colors Baby.
The collar tag in excellent condition dates this toddler set to the mid 1940s.
The was the same time that Packers purchased Rockford Lodge as the NFL’s truly first off-site training camp.
Married players were housed in small cottages there.
Curly’s then wife Grace was an import from Hollywood and spent over ,000 decorating the lodge.
One could imagine new babies living at the lodge as seen in listing photos.
With Curly’s tight relationship with O’Shea as the uniform and sweater provider to the team, one can also imagine O’Shea being called upon to supply “gifts” from the Lambeau duo.
While no direct provenance, the colors are those of the Lambeau Packers in Navy and Gold. Any O’Shea item from this era is a valuable item, but this unique, three-piece set is truly a rare item.
Set to display along with Rockwood Lodge era items makes it a stunning piece, yet it is still is excellent condition and could be worn by a young Packers fan still today.
