This is a new piece of 35" tall by 58" wide white with black backing screen material shipped ROLLED in a tube. All real projection screen material is shipped rolled and NOT folded.  If your material was folded you more than likely received Black Out Cloth which is NOT made for projection and does not have any properties suited for projection.  There are a few sellers here on Ebay that claim to have Black Out Cloth with a Gain rateing but Black Out Cloth does not have a gain rateing and this should be a red flag.
