Vintage Betsy McCall Doll with original pink dress and white shoes TLC needed

Description

This old doll is very cute with pretty eyes that open and close.  But she does have some age related issues.  I don't know alot about these type of dolls, other than what I have seen on ebay, so please ask any questions if I haven't answered them.
She does a crotch separation as shown in one of the pictures.   Her knees will stay in place in you bend them, but her legs feel a little loose to me, like they might need to be restrung or whatever is done to tighten them up.  The arms swing and don't hold a pose.  She has a few light brownish marks on her head near her hairline.
She has pretty facial coloring aside from that with nice rosy cheeks.
She wears what I believe is a dress called Pink Recess.  There are three stains on it above the white trim.  I put a circle on one of the pictures because they can be hard to see.  There are two working snaps in the back of the dress.  She comes with her original white shoes.
She wears a barrette on one side of her head.
