This Waring 503081 polishing wheel (also called the stropping wheel) is a direct replacement for the one that came standard on your WKS800 electric knife sharpener. This polishing wheel assembly puts the final honed edge on your knives by removing any rough burrs from the edge of a knife that has just been sharpened on the grinding wheels. With patented reverse action, it provides a razor sharp edge in only one or two sets of pulls through the sharpener, after the knife has already been sharpened.
