Wallace (Wally) Turner was an investigative journalist who turned over to Robert F. Kennedy invaluable investigative work into the workings of the mob, which greatly helped with the Senate investigation and later conviction of numerous mafia members. Wallace Turner is listed in the index of the book as "Wally Turner" and is mentioned four times in the book. Turner started his investigative journalism for the Portland Oregon papers and eventually moved to California, going on to write for the Times, and winning a Pulitzer prize for his investigative journalism.
Provenance includes a 1960s Robert F. Kennedy political flyer and envelope found in the book and addressed to Wallace Turner at his California address (Included) .
